Podcasting Lessons

 

Playlist Podcast: have students create a podcast of their top 10 songs in their playlist. " My #10 favorite  song is..............then they play 30 seconds of the song......then explain why they like it, etc. 

 

Soundtrack of Your Life: students talk about events in their life and how music was a part of the event, got them through the event, reminds them of it, etc. 

 

Interview Podcast: students will interview a famiy member, friend, teacher, etc.  Learn about their lives, etc.

 

Tell Me Something Podcast:  have students tell you something! Topics can be wideranging

Microphone technique. Audio editing, Scriptwriting and outlining, Interviewing and storytelling, Mixing and publishing audio

Music: Produce shows about artists, genres, or music reviews
ELA: Practice narrative writing, persuasion, or interviews
Social Studies: Explore historical figures or current events
Science: Explain topics in a student-led “STEMcast”
