The Torrington High School Music Technology Program has been nationally recognized as a model program.  THS offers two levels of Music Technology – Music Technology I and Music Technology II.

Music Technology I

is a half-year course that focuses on the introduction of using technology to create, evaluate, arrange and perform music.   Topics covered but not limited to:

1. Sound Systems
2. MIDI
3. JamStudio
4. Garageband

Music Technology II

is a full-year course that focuses on real-world applications of music technology.   Topics covered but not limited to:

1. Radio Commercials/Jingles
2. Podcasting
3. Film Scoring
4. Web Design
